Frances Burkinshaw is a National ARLA trainer and provides continuous training sessions to ensure that staff fully aware of changes in industry legislation and this ensures that our clients receive a service of the highest standard.

We encourage our staff to take the ARLA competency tests and in fact 80% of the staff has attained the ARLA level 1 status and most of our senior staff are qualified to ARLA level 2.

Sevenoaks - Property Manager

Ashton Burkinshaw Ltd has offices located throughout the South East which provide specialist letting services to landlords and tenants. We are looking for an energetic and ambitious person required to join our busy team in Sevenoaks as a Property Manager. The role involves managing a portfolio of properties, managing accounts, organizing repairs and ensuring the very best levels of client relations. Duties include: Producing inventory and schedule of condition. Carry out check ins and outs Negotiate damages claims with tenants following check out. Receive and action maintenance issues and instruct approved contractors accordingly, controlling costs and quality of work. Act as liaison between landlords, tenants, contractors. Arrange and carry out property visits, submit reports to landlords and follow up any identified maintenance issues. Secure additional funds from Landlords, when necessary. Manage the process relating to insurance claims, including meeting loss adjusters, supervising works and securing repayment from insurance companies

To be considered for this position you will possess the following qualities: Professional approach and appearance. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Experienced in dispute resolution and problem solving. Able to handle difficult/sensitive situations. Has achieved or willing to work towards an industry qualification. Hold a full and clean UK Driving License, be able to drive a manual motor car Hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, working one in three Saturdays, 9.00am to 2.00pm with day off in lieu the following week. - Trainee Negotiator

Ashton Burkinshaw Ltd has offices located throughout the South East which provide specialist letting services to landlords and tenants. We are looking for two Trainee Negotiators that are energetic, articulate and ambitious people to join our busy teams in the North and South of the county. The role involves with assisting in the smooth operation of the lettings department and ensuring the very best levels of client relations. Duties include: To carry out a client presentation giving a rental appraisal on the property and to attend all property viewings. Liaise with landlords and tenants on a regular basis. To understand potential tenants requirements and offer them suitable properties. To deal with all potential clients over the telephone or face to face. To meet set targets in relation to required lets. To deal with queries and questions of the companies services

To be considered for this position you will possess the following qualities: Able to demonstrate a previous successful track record within the lettings/sales industry. Have excellent communication skills. Be well presented and professional. Able to deal with people at all levels Articulate and intelligent with the ability to work as part of a team. Excellent initiative. Has achieved or is willing to work towards an industry qualification. Gravesend - Branch Manager

Ashton Burkinshaw Ltd has offices located throughout the South East which provide specialist letting services to landlords and tenants. Due to expansion we are looking for an energetic and ambitious Branch Manager to head up our busy team in the Gravesend, Kent. The role involves managing a portfolio of properties, managing staff, managing administration, managing accounts, managing repairs and ensuring the very best levels of client relations. Duties include: Day to day running of the branch. Manage the daily administrative duties. Able to motivate and develop the team. To provide outstanding service to our customers. To identify areas of growth and act on it. Develop new business relationships

To be considered for this position you will possess the following qualities: Must have a knowledge of residential lettings (or possibly sales). Must have strong leadership and management skills. Must be Sales focused and Target driven. Has excellent Administrative skills. Has achieved ARLA Level 1 or equivalent industry qualification and happy to work towards the next level.
